In the nicest way, it’s quite old school in its approach: Gordon is almost invariably there (not even his reality TV gig can keep him away for long), meeting and greeting, doing the rounds of his many regulars, being discreet as required, and generally putting the diner’s every whim first. Heck, he
even opens the place for lunch on Tuesdays, when so many of his high-profile neighbours take the expedient option and don’t.
